jazzimatronX is the brainchild of singer/musician Robbie Cunningham. The concept is for it to be a collective featuring different musician but with the pandemic making it hard to gather musicians in the studio, Robbie went this one alone. This 8 track ep highlights his eclectic taste in instrumentation from the steel drum featured on "UnTitled Groov to the African drums and kalimba on the Earth, Wind & Fire inspired interludes "Sauti" and "Mababu"
Getting his start as a drummer, what's not lost on these compositions is the groove, layered with jazz influenced chord progressions, these song should fit into any playlist.
